@thecatchingguy: Tyler Stephenson doing some Short Hop Resisted Receiving - That’s around a 2 lb wrist weight on his wrist (See the yellow circle). We use the short hop to force the catcher to start from the ground and the wrist weight to strengthen the “receiving muscles.” Work against resistance and then take the resistance away and you’ll move quicker and control the ball better. This is part of the make training hard so the game is easy concept. This is one of our go to drills at all of my camps! My next three: 1. Milwaukee, WI (3 spots left) 2. Portland, OR (1 spot left) 3. Kansas City, KS (1 spot left) Let me know if you have any questions. #wristweights #strengthtraining #catcherdrills #weight #fyp #foru
