Just for those who might be panicking- it depends on how much you weigh. Typically those who take 1.5-2x their body weight in kgs they are classified as insulin resistant

I have this because of a cushing syndrom (hypercortolismus)... sometimes i need 10 or more junits short insulin, every two hours too go throw the night... 😭 and on the day i need a walk after every meal to get my insulin working😢

My doc said I’m “in the middle of type 1 and type 2” has me on 20 daily units on my insulin pen and two pills that are supposed to help with type 2 diabetes. Would I technically be a double diabetic?

My doctor told me that I have this today… been type 1 for 34 years… gained a lot of weight in last 4 years and nothing helps to reduce weight. I don’t use a ton of insulin though so am I maybe not
