They use black shows to boost ratings for the entire network then discard them when other show ratings are better. The Game was taken away from BET for the same reason.

Static Shock imo appealed to an audience who were growing out of toys. I think it hit in middle school and we loved that shit. The whole lineup for that time was full of bangers.
