Give them a call and they’ll get you out on a boat to show all of this first hand! ⚠️ The filling of the basin with sand and silt doesn't just threaten homes in Louisiana; it also hampers the livelihoods of lifelong Cajun fishermen, trappers, and wild crawfish farmers who depend on public waters. (Remember, all donations to ABK are tax-deductible.) ☝️ Here's a snapshot of their achievements: 🌳 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀: Over 400,000 acres preserved, preventing them from becoming cypress mulch or wood pellets. 🌊 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Cleared structures blocking public access and harming the ecosystem. 🛢️𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀: Actively worked to reduce their environmental impact. 🛑 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Their vigilance has stopped MOST illegal wetland developments in the Basin. ☠️ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲: No more oil waste in our Basin’s wetlands. 👮 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀: Stepping up where regulatory agencies haven't, to protect our lands.
