@aklbestie_: It honestly warms my heart to see SOO MANY Filipino food stalls at the auckland night markets 🥹🫶🏼🇵🇭 We moved to nz back in 2005 & things were soo different back then! My sister & I were the only Filipinos in our school & not one person knew where the Philippines is 😅 We used to also be soooo embarrassed having chicken adobo with rice etc for school lunch but yo lowkey, I WOULD TOTALLY rock that lunch now 🍗 And eating pancit canton or other pinoy snacks meant everytime we went back to the Philippines, we would have to pack half of our luggage with the goodies we wanted.
