You’re unforgiving of yourself… You’re unforgiving of others… This is why women cannot understand how someone can go through something, triumph and become a better person. Y’all make mistakes and beat yourself up for the rest of your lives for it. Y’all make poor decisions and beat yourselves up for the rest of your lives for it. Not only do you crucify yourselves forever, you find other women to bond with byway self loathing. Self Loathing: a constant belief or feeling of worthlessness, failure, inadequacy, and incompetence. A very strong feelings of dislike for yourself. Women sit around and tell old stories of hurt and betrayal… And that’s where they remain. Never reinventing themselves… Never rising above. So when others do what they don’t, they remind them of who they used to be. They’ll never allow you to forget who you once were because that person is who they relate to… They’re emotionally attached to that old person. I don’t tell old stories of hurt, abuse, neglect because I’m no longer that person who suffered… I know that’s what many of you want to hear and can only relate to… But I’m not there, so unfortunately we will never relate to each other. You want to remain in the past and I am present in the present. People tell old stories of hurt and dismay to keep themselves from doing better… Self loathing at its finest. And that’s one thing many women are experts at, self loathing. And many of you wonder why you keep having the same undesirable experiences.
