My partner has adhd and ill be honest, its very hard for me to navigate the interruption thing. Im doing my best but it is also very hard not feeling talked over even knowing the intend behind it

My partner and I will raise our hands like in school so the other knows to wrap things up or find a place to pause. Doesn’t work every time but it helps

I have “ADHD” or (VAST) variable attention stimulus trait but my memory is usually better than most other people around me if I can pay attention.

I remeber lots of information from multiple different sources. It’s just that one bit of information overtakes the other and to me, is more important at any one time. So I have to speak. 🥰
