She’s only 2 years old, but her frail 28-pound body tells a story of suffering and survival. Malnourished. Worn down. Overlooked. And now… out of time. This sweet girl is heartworm negative — a miracle in itself given all she’s been through. But her little body bears the scars of neglect, and she’s wasting away in a shelter kennel, waiting for someone to see her not as broken, but as worthy of being loved. Taking her out of her kennel she got so excited and just wanted my attention. She absolutely loved treats and sniffed out my bag to get them. I was happy to give this precious girl them. She took the treats so gently.She walked on a loose leash and was easily leashed.
