This harness can be damaging as it restricts shoulder movements and gait. Y shaped harnesses at the front is best, although harnesses are training tools not training methods.

Pool noodles waving it around and side to side when your dog tries to go in front taught my dog to walk calmly on a lead now he does it without the noodle
