@abc7chicago: The British Airways Concorde supersonic passenger jet was craned onto the pier outside the Intrepid Museum in Manhattan after arriving back there on Thursday, March 14. Footage captured by Ben Lord shows the jet being slowly lifted onto Pier 86 at the museum after journeying along the Hudson River following its eight-month restoration at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Visitors were welcome to visit the pier to greet the jet as it arrived, the museum said. The Concorde fleet was retired in 2003, three years after Air France Flight 4590 crashed, killing all 109 people on board and four on the ground. #news #fyp
