Mom has this, diagnosed 17 months ago with clear scans, 0 reoccurences and excellent quality of life ❤️Although we know it will eventually come back, we are trying to make as much memories as we can.

I have a brother in law that was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma 20 years ago it’s crazy ( and I’m a nurse ) he is still alive and mostly thriving.

My mom passed 20 months after diagnosis on Oct 2023. If I ever get this I wouldn't do treatment. It's very sad having to go through surgeries, radiation & therapy just to find out it grew back just...

My dad had a glioblastoma tumor in a year he had 5/6 surgeries and a flap of his skull removed and still kept coming back worse:( he passed 14 months after first surgery:( it’s been a year now

Can you by any chance explain what prolonged alcohol abuse does to the brain? The liver we know will become damaged, but I heard the brain gets just as bad. If this is irrelevant please ignore 😅

As someone who works with a lot of Glioblastoma patients on the Oncology side it is a very difficult diagnosis to deal with.

My mom just passed from multifocal inoperable glioblastoma. Largest tumors were in the temporal and frontal lobes.. and eventually her brain stem. You’re right- It’s such a relentless disease 💔

My brother had GBM in 1990. I was a pathologist and noted his homonymous hemianopsia, I also made his tissue diagnosis. That was hard. He lived 12 months. I agree with you
