I love two islands, that said I think a 12’ island is too large for ME. Not you. For myself who likes to cook and entertain I like to have the cooks zone and the guests zone. I love a big long table!!

I love the idea. I have a ten foot island w seating on one side and a dining room right next to the kitchen (open) and EVERYONE eats hangs at island

I vote 1 island and a huge dining room table, with nice chairs to relax and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. I am short and HATE bar stools and islands. Very, very uncomfortable.

No!!! Sitting at an island with bar height sitting is very difficult for extended time ie entertaining - feet swell etc - very uncomfortable!!!!

YES! 100% we built a couple years ago and saw this in a few custom homes and still wish we had the room to do it! Everyone gathers around the island anyways so why not!

I love the style, but tbh I think island height dining tables can be uncomfortable especially for shorter people. Not a style I’d choose, It will be beautiful! 👍🏻
