I have to make jokes so I don’t cry because tell me why last year, it took me 2 Dr office trips and 9 phone calls and the DIReCtOR of the imaging center calling on my behalf to get a script to have a bilateral ultrasound. 😫😫😫 I found a concerning spot from self checks I do monthly but they put in the wrong script and it took weeks of advocating for myself to get them to listen. After all that I heard “Looks like you have a cyst we need to watch.” Yeah, no kidding. That’s what I told you. 😫 2 other scans later and found out it’s all good. The process from the first time I reported it to actually being checked was MoNtHS. 2 months of worry because the system doesn’t support us getting answers about our own body in a timely manner. Zero star review from me. ✅This is your reminder to do monthly self checks ✅ Put up a ✨kind but firm fuss✨ if they don’t listen ✅ Laugh because you’re not alone 🫠🫠🫠
