the "stop moving it wont see you" from jurassic park only happened bc in the novels they explain that they didnt have all the DNA sequences so they inserted amphibian DNA, thats mostly based on motion sight, so yeah all this misunderstanding bc of a bad movie detail adaptation

Ok so I know im late but the reason in the movie they say that their vision is based on motion is because the dna they couldn’t clone was filled in with dna from things like frogs who in some species hunt prey based on movement.
