Make sure crate is only big enough for puppy to turn around in and lay down. You give them too much room they will make a mess. Crates usually have dividers for this reason! Stay strong! ❤️

My family’s puppy and the puppy I have now both slept with a doll that’s a dog with a heartbeat. You can get them on Amazon. Both dogs slept perfectly through the night thanks to that stuffy!

Just stay consistent..Keep a crate in your bedroom with the bed and blanket in it and one in the main area! I've never fed mine in there.

We went through that last summer. Try a crate cover, or there is a puppy you can buy off Amazon with a heartbeat. Sounds crazy, but that helped. Also, you can try potty training with a bell.

We put a blanket over 3 sides of our puppy’s crate, and feed him 1 meal in his crate. He was trained in 3 days. He doesn’t cry in there anymore and voluntarily naps in it during the day.

@Janie Ippolito get a stuffy with a heart beat in it so that he feels more comfort and put a sheet over the cage so it's more cozy also use calming treats they work so well

Put a cover over his crate when he sleeps. Mine really like to be in the dark- also I would have him sleep in the same room as you as dogs are pack animals and want to be with “their people”.

I have a german shepard. when we were crate training him, he would whine. Was told to ignore it when u first put him in. it worked. also, don't make the crate a punishment.
