Black cabs are so expensive in London. I made the mistake of taking one from Luton to Shoreditch because it was more convenient but an Uber would’ve been 1/3 of the cost.

I'm a taxi driver in my town and I've had to do a knowledge test too. but the one in London is 10x more difficult and i couldn't be more grateful to be from a small town 😂

Uber drivers will almost always get stuck in roadworks, closures, traffic and have no idea how to avoid them, which ends up costing more than a black cab.

The knowledge wasn’t hard for me I had lots of experience working London as a coach and lorry driver, but the financial side of living as a single guy killed me I still regret it to this day.

Complete myth that black cab drivers don’t use satnav. I get black cabs on late nights from work maybe 2-3 times a week on average (for the past 3 years) and I’d say 80% of them use satnav.
