@euniceloisss: Super Crispy Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken 🍗🌿 Chicken Marinade: 1/2kg Boneless chicken thighs, cut to bite size pieces 2 tbsp Cooking wine (I used soju) 2 tbsp Soy sauce 1 tsp Five spice Salt Pepper 2 cloves Garlic, grated Dredge: 2 cups Sweet Potato starch Spice powder: 2 tsp Five Spice 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Sugar 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp Garlic powder 1. Marinate the chicken pieces with all yhe marinade ingredients. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. 2. Coat with sweet potato flour. 3. Fry on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fully cooked through. 4. Let it drain and rest on a rack or strainer. 5. Mix all the spice powder ingredients and set aside. 6. Increase the heat to medium high and double fry the chicken for 1 minute until super crispy and golden brown. 7. Add the basil leaves and fry with the chicken for 15 seconds. 8.
