FIX YOUR FORM 📝✅ Lying leg raises are a popular core exercise with so many benefits to strengthen your trunk and core strength, but I see SO many people doing them completely wrong 🚫 when you do these without activating your core and at high speed, they are pretty much completely pointless, can cause problems with your lower back and you most definitely won’t be getting the most out of the exercise. When you are performing these, make sure you are: ✅ Lifting your head so that you chin is on your chest - this will discourage you from arching your back and force your core to engage more. I look down my body when doing lying leg raises and this seems to help with engagement and control.  ✅ Think about sucking your belly button into your spine - this will help you keep your back flat and also cause more engagement/activation of your abs. ✅ Lower your legs SLOWLY - this won’t just increase the time under tension, forcing your core muscles to work for a longer period of time, but will also help you to keep your form in check throughout the movement.
