I swam with my mini twists, washed them and they didn’t loc for 4 weeks. Had other mini twists that I didn’t even swim with but they loc’d by week 3 😂

From someone who started her loc journey 10 months ago hair starts locing at 3 months. Your hair can get matted or tangled yes but locing starts at 3 months
