English is the most commonly learned 2nd language. When your 1st language is English, choosing a 2nd language is difficult and others not in that position will always criticize no matter what.

Don’t mind those people. It’s literally the same here in Belgium. I think almost every movie in the theatres are in English with Dutch and French subtitles.🤷🏼♀️

Happened to me in Berlin going to see an Almodovar film thinking it would be in Spanish w German subtitiles. It was dubbed in German. Learned to look for OV (original version) after that
