This happened to me in Germany too! I didn’t outshine the bride, but I was overdressed compared to everyone else. I asked a million questions and they gave me very little direction. It’s on THEM.

Same thing happened to me at a German wedding. At Irish weddings we dress up but in German weddings they look like they are going to brunch
