Thank you Ozzy for being the Father to all of us troubled and lost teens. You made us men ! God bless you and your legacy will live on forever 🤘🏻 After 6 days of mourning and looking for closure it has become clear to me that all my childhood was shaped and shielded by the songs I would love and listen to and try to learn on guitar . With music , My fears were overcome My confidence was boosted and the scared teenager would cling to rock and roll for survival I had an answer everytime I would play some music or pick up my guitar and play riffs from Black Sabbath and Ozzy as well as many others to cope as a teen it was my escape . With Ozzy gone Now that shield feels as if it had been taken away leaving me to face that 12 year old scared teenager and take inventory on emotions and feelings . More grown up now and mature realizing I don’t need the shield anymore or the compass to direct me This is the reason his loss hurts so much . I had to sit and see that 12 year old boy again hurting and trying to figure out how to become a man. Ozzy was the one we could all relate to and his voice guided us through the fear and empowered us to keep on keeping on even when everything is against us . #closure #ozzy #childhood #genx
