the ship had multiple outages as it was approaching the bridge which made the crew unable to steer. The power came back on but they weren’t able to stop/turn away in time.

In one of the videos close up, you can see the ships lights inside flicker in and out before it does a slight turn so their might of been an outage

To ppl saying”he steered str8 4 it”…Ship has right-handed propeller. Meaning it rotates counterclockwise when backing which pushes the bow to starboard.

In the video you can see it, the power on, headed towards the support, they cut the power, it was gonna miss. They turned it back on to turn it into the bridge. Then cut the power again..
