NO! you have to prechalk it first!!! if you write on it without prechalking it never goes awayy

Mate of mine added iron filings to her chalkboard paint tin. Had it professionally shaken up, and ran home to paint it. Doesn't work too badly with quality magnets.

i have a chalkboard wall but it is SO hard to wipe it perfectly clean after using chalk. microfiber probably worked the best so far
