@foosinmedicine: In simple terms, this EKG demonstrates a heart attack. I’ve been asked many times why the training to become a doctor is so long. People’s lives are literally placed in our hands. Our decisions can straight up dictate a person’s outcome. Something as simple as overlooking an EKG can be deadly. Heart attacks can present in different ways. Classically we hear about the pressure like chest pain that radiates to our left shoulder or jaw. It’s also important to note that women are more likely due to experience atypical symptoms and thus making them more likely to be misdiagnosed.
