Got a lot of questions about this on my recent video - I hope this helps 🫶🏼 First of all, thank you so much for all the love on the video!! I truly appreciate all your support and kind words 🥹🙏🏼🥰 So here’s what happened: In the end of classes the teacher picks small groups to perform the choreo while filming. And I got selected and placed in the front centre at a world famous studio 🥹 Being a dancer who travelled all the way from little Denmark to Los Angeles to train and take classes, that’s a huge thing 🥰 Getting picked by a teacher when they don’t know you (especially in LA where they mostly pick their friends or famous dancers with huge followings) is always a pat on the back 🙏🏼 With that being said, as a dancer you should be careful not to “measure” the success of a class or how well you did, on whether you get picked or not! You can do amazing and not get picked. Or you can struggle so much in the beginning, but keep working hard during the class and end up getting it or just have improved 🙏🏼 Or maybe you just enjoyed it and had so much fun, which is what it’s all about 😍 #danishdancer #ladancers #playgroundla #dancerslife #danceclassesbelike #dextercarrchoreography
