Barrels that have had tons of rounds through them cause a phenomenon called “Keyhole” or “key-holing” where the round doesn’t spiral consistently and rotates on its axis. Nasty way to get hit.

I've killed over 20 deer with it, tiny entrance wounds but massive internal damage. 300 or 7mag if you need a bigger round to take out armor or very long distance shots
