I live in an apt and my neighbors have a dachshund, he barks all the time at everything and the managers had to put out a message saying unruly dogs barking all the time will get kicked out 😭💀

My girl is 2, we’ve been super careful with stairs etc and she now has stage 5 ivdd. I always stupidly thought it wouldn’t happen to us 😭😭

a study showed that dachshunds over 3 that were allowed to go up stairs daily had lower odds of ivdd :)

My dachshund isn’t treat or food motivated 🙃 and it BAFFLES me! My previous two would have sold me for a piece of bacon. But he’s honestly the best behaved dog I’ve ever met

Good info. My two weeners are trained not to jump on furniture, that lessens the risk of back injuries.

my dox has seperation anxiety from our other dog. he also has normal anxiety. he hates car rides, and doesn’t really bark. but he’s the sweetest. 🥰

I picked up my dachshund pup on Monday, she's 8 weeks old and I think we got super lucky bcos she doesn't bark, she's not fazed by anything. pees everywhere though 😅
