My humble opinion it’s the OO the can’t get the own loads loose more money because the broker takes a % and then the dispatcher also take a % and the OO pays for fuel tolls maintenance 🤦🏽🤦🏽

They weren’t getting any calls at 2500 - they bump it up to 2800 and tell every caller the same story they told you. It’s commonplace and a desperation attempt usually to not lose money on a load.
