Maybe because many people have been able to mask and on the surface lead a ‘normal’ life whereas in the past it would only be diagnosed if it was have a massive effect on day to day living.

Both diagnosed and underdiagbised people have babies. Autism and ADHD are hereditary… there’s more people out there than we’ve ever realised. Adult diagnosis is showing more of the real prevalence
