Mutual trust to not go through private things within the phone though! Changing the music is much different to going through notes app.

I’ll unlock my phone myself for my partner to change the music or something. But if they do anything other than what I gave them permission for, then that’s trust gone. It does feel like my diary.

Just because you have a partner doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to privacy. You should trust that your partner isn’t doing anything suss on their phone without looking, if not then break up.
