It’s bc people of our generation think that embarrassment is “trauma” when it’s not. It’s just embarrassment, and you sometimes get embarrassed if you get corrected or disciplined

My husband and I believe in consequences for bad behavior but then they go to school and get to hand in work a month late for a full grade. It takes both parents and teachers to hold kids responsible
