Agree, but as a teacher, we need so much funding to integrate these kids properly. The gov dump them in state schools (at least in the uk) with very little extra support and expect them to thrive

This is actually a scientifically backed opinion. Any child development class now-a-days and from years and years ago believe in this. Schools just tend to ignore it because it takes extra work

That’s actually one of the core principles of modern day special education. Its called least restrictive environment and inclusion. One of the first things you learn in an education class.
