Singaporean here! Slightly controversial opinion but I think the Chicken Rice from Mei Mei at Borough Market is one of the best I’ve ever had 😂

If you like Milo try the ones in Singapore - they make them with condensed milk. But go to a coffee shop or hawker where they make it fresh because some use pre-mix. Oh and ask for ice Milo

Chicken rice is good but simple. It’s usually one of the cheaper eats in hawkers too because it is a simple dish.

In my opinion Boon Tong Kee is the best but it’s expensive 😂 I usually bring friends from overseas to try it there cause there’s aircon 😂😂😂

try abang grumpy chicken rice at lucky plaza. is really good. boring to see every tourist try same typical stall. try hidden gems.

Rule one of food hunting in Singapore. Always go with a local friend. Famous stalls are alright but hidden gems stalls are always gatekeep to avoid dropped in quality 🤣
