Idk if the silicone is different in Europe buth in Europe you have to wait 24H until the silicone is dry to be water proof

If you use silicone from where I’m from, they would call it a homeowner special. Always use putty!

The only issue with silicone, is you need to clean up extra that comes out or it’s a pain to clean. Other than that, it’s perfect imo ✌️
