For my job, it’s an advisor. He hoards all the keys on his desk and then when it’s time for a customer to pick up he doesn’t know which one is which. We have a board for everyone’s keys

This is gonna sound pretty caveman technology, but we have two lockboxes one that says not done and then another lockbox says done so when the customer comes, we go straight to the done box

I keep most of my waiting on parts/works in progress keys on my tool box. Makes sure work doesn't get redispatched or the writers pay my time if it carries over to the next shift.
