I knew captain and jumpseating pilot. You failed to mention airport construction, irregular airport markings/lighting, and one person working in tower. Multiple failures caused this crash.

The sterile cockpit has nothing to do with this. These were both very experienced pilots. It was dark, early, and weird runway configuration. Also, this was well before the rest rules we have now.

Also, that runway had construction equipment and one person in ATC. Can’t lay it on the pilots alone. A lot of pieces failed in this tragedy

How did everyone die? The plane didn't even leave the ground and just slid down the field and through trees before stopping. It also remained in one piece.
