i like to split the work up into 2 days if i can: 1 day for nail prep-taking off old polish, filing+shaping, cuticle work. day 2 apply gel polish and paint

You should always start doing your dominant hand with your non-dominant one. It will make it quicker for you to finish off at the end since it’ll make it easier to just use your already done hand..
