yea, I think will is basically talking about the fundamentals of religion, which is just hope and a fairly easy way to get over grief. some people perfect this, and others just take advantage of it

I've been on the same page as QT since 10 too. I started to question at bible studies, which got me into trouble. I know now why people used to get Lobotomies.
