You'll need a lid, make your lamp height adjustable. only get more chick's if you need more eggs once they start laying. I have 8 for just me and 2 dogs.

Looks great! Only criticism I have is because I’ve had a fire from a heat lamp- don’t rely on the clamp on the lamp. Screw it down, use wire to secure it, do something extra, please!
