@anna_louisa_at_home: Wait for the dirt dump at the end 🤢 This is your reminder to deep clean your cloths! Thank you to @tanyahomeinspo for reminding me ☺️ . Here’s how to deep clean your cloths 👇🏼 1. Add your cloths and water to an old saucepan 2. Sprinkle in a cup of bicarbonate of soda 3. Boil for 15 minutes 4. Let cool and rinse with cold water 5. Wash with your usual detergent on a quick wash cycle and allow to air dry. . Why? Your cleaning cloths can harbour more bacteria than your toilet seat so it is important to clean regularly. This method saves time and energy as you are able to put them on a quick wash cycle rather than a long, hot cycle. Disclaimer: this method can shrink your cloths but I personally didn’t notice this using this method. . #deepclean #CleanTok #cleantok101 #cleantokuk #cleaningtips #cleaningmotivation

You shouldn’t be boiling microfiber clothes, it breaks down the fibers and ruins the cloth.

putting microfiber on more than 60 degrees damages the fibers and will no longer be as effective as before. machine wash is perfectly good way.

I just did my freshly washed cloths with this method and I was shocked that the washing machine didn’t do a great job, even on 60 degrees!

You can throw away your microfibre clothes after boiling them. They are all destroyed, it melts the fibres away and won't work as microfibre anymore.

Is there anything similar we can use? I don’t have biocarbonate of soda. Is it expensive?
