Maybe sounds silly but when I did my shopping at lidl I then went to marks and Spencer and believe it or not some stuff was cheaper in there then lidl xx

I’ve literally just swapped to Lidl from Aldi, the fruit is far better quality! Stuff from Aldi was going bad within a day or 2 so although it was slightly cheaper I have been wasting so much food

sainburys or Morrisons is fairly good.. especially for meat at Morrisons 3 for £10 and good size packs
