I went on a cruise 6 weeks pregnant. Worst decision ever. Couldn’t cancel and didn’t have travel insurance. Got sick and they wouldn’t treat me. Was so so sick until I got home.

Get travel health insurance if you’re on a cruise! That’s one pricey emergency. Normal coverage doesn’t apply in international waters.

I'd be worried about an ambulance ride on dry land, can't imagine the cost of an airlift off the coast.

people don't understand some cruises make you provide proof from a doctor. she probably got cleared but emergencies don't care if you're on land air or sea they happen
