@paint_warrior: PAINTING NEW PLASTER.. its task a lot of people get confused over. So your first steps should be to check the instructions on your finish colour paint as it’ll say if it’s suitable for painting new plaster, if so it’ll give guidelines on how much water to paint ratio you need to mix. If not then what we use is a contract matt emulsion it’s usually a lot cheper than your top coat paint and the mix is 40% water the rest paint. Or you can but a specific paint primer for new plaster.
