@canadiancarpenter: People always ask me why I cut with my base loose all the time. Here is only if the main reasons I do it. When I’m working at different heights in different areas I don’t plunge down knowing I’m coming in square to the materials. I also don’t need to be behind the saw as I can be to the side of it without being uncomfortable. Just choppin cuts.
