I think we should double down on this. The scoring champion should be the one with the most total points in the season, not the highest average of the games they played.

The rule is great, in the last 945 awards given for all-nba, 134 were to people not playing at least 65 games. But there were some seasons that didnt even have 82 games (4 seasons actually).

Embiid only played 39 games. He missed more than 52% of the games. Even if he was eligible, it would be absurd to elect him to an All-NBA team over players that played almost every game and were /1
