I had my embryos frozen. Only at the time of implantation. I was told there's only 5% chance of them working. Twice they failed

My clinic insisted I freeze at least 20 eggs for chances at 1 baby. Froze 28 from 2 rounds at 35yrs, pregnant at 42yrs having thawed 9/28 eggs.

I did it 4 times— pregnant 4 times and still had early loses. No baby. They warned me- 30% chance of live baby. I’m glad looking back I tried. It def helped with closure for me.

That’s the thing with all these celebs selling the egg freezing they sell it like it’s a guarantee, you need a lot of eggs, we did 2 retrievals had 43 eggs in total only got 7 embryos. 1st transfer

Yes egg freezing is not as good as they make it seem. Even with fresh eggs (you lose a lot in the thaw) only a certain percentage will make it to embryo stage 🥺

I’m on my second round and it’s severely hard and I mean primarily emotionally. The injections are the easy part, the mental part is agonizing because it’s a waiting game and seeing if it worked.

egg freezing is not particularly successful. ppl don't understand that. more success with embryos, but that's an option only if u found Yr partner/donor. Love the ending ❤️
