But why accord someone a 6 months visitor’s visa and sometimes even with multiple entries and not allow them to fully use the visa?? Then you may well not have that visa in your portfolio at all!!

There is one aspect that keeps on sticking right out from all the visitors visa expectations; it is the fact that the USCIS seems to have an issue with people wanting to permanently stay in the US!

Fun fact: if upon entry you have a strong reason to stay in the US for more than 6mo, the CBP will grant you a 12mo duration of stay.
