great explanation. as a nurse i definitely see other nurses confused when a bipolar pt get 400mg of seroquel a day. when 12.5mg puts sundowning meemaw to sleep.

My experience of taking quetiapine 50mg is that it helps, with sleep and anxiety/mood. Maybe the only effect is improving sleep, however it has worked much better than any antihistamine for me.

Seroquel helped me sleep but made me a complete zombie for the few hours I managed to be awake. I couldn't handle feeling like that all the time. Glad it works for others tho.
