@whitneysdogs: This is Paco. He was found as a stray and brought to Dallas Animal Services. Unbeknownst to me at the time, he was FULL of ticks - he was clearly left to be eaten alive for a very long time. Paco is all about vibes. He slowly strolls through a packed shelter and goes about life smelling the butterflies. We could all learn a lesson or two from him! Well, I promised Paco I’d be back. The next day, I picked him up after his neuter surgery and we immediately started working on his glow-up. Over 100 ticks were pulled off of him, he’s gotten two anti-flea/tick baths, a good brushing, and we are now working on much needed medical appointments. When he’s feeling better, he will be available for adoption through @heartsandbonesrescue!
